 To purchase a ticket for this trip, please come along to one of our designated sign-up sessions in the Guild of Students. (See our newsletter) 

We are crossing the Welsh border and going to South Snowdonia, an area known for its unspoilt mountains and deep, tree-covered valleys!!  Wales is also home to the best rugby team (fight me).The Wayfarers will be spending the weekend taking in the mountains.

 We will be staying in Bryn Hafod, a climbing hut near Dinas Mawddwy, in a scenic location.

What to bring:

  • Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes (that you don't mind getting muddy)
  • Lightweight trousers (definitely not jeans!)
  • Jumper and/or other layers
  • Waterproof coat and trousers
  • Packed lunch and water for both days of walking
  • Cash for emergencies
  • Rucksack to carry it all in
  • Extra clothes for both days of walking
  • Sleeping bag
  • Wash kit, etc.
