The Stiperstones is a quartzite ridge formed 480,000,000 years ago for your walking pleasure! The Wayfarers are heading there this summer term for a bit of pre-exam relaxing walking. Come one and come all for this lovely Shropshire walk... fingers crossed for good weather.

What to bring:

  • Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes (that you don't mind getting muddy)
  • Lightweight trousers (definitely not jeans!)
  • Jumper and/or other layers
  • Waterproof coat and trousers
  • Packed lunch and water
  • Cash for emergencies
  • Rucksack to carry it all in
