Lake District

To purchase a ticket for this trip, please come along to one of our designated sign-up sessions in the Guild of Students. (See our newsletter)

Once again the Wayfarers are taking a trip to the Lake District. This is an area that we visit every term and it is always a really popular weekend.

The Lake District is in Cumbria, North West England, and it's famous for lakes (obviously) and mountains, which the Wayfarers will be going up.  It's also famous for its association with William Wordsworth, a poet, and Beatrix Potter, a writer and illustrator.  An area of outstanding beauty, it's an essential visit for all hikers.

 See you there!
